Description
What is Combiflam Tablet used for?
Combiflam tablets are used to relieve mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever, combining Ibuprofen and Paracetamol, making them effective for headaches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, muscle pain, joint pain (like arthritis), and general body aches by blocking pain-causing chemicals. It’s recommended to take it with or after food to minimize stomach irritation.
Common Uses:
- Pain Relief: Headaches, migraines, toothaches, sore throat, nerve pain, backaches, and pain from injuries (sprains, sports injuries).
- Inflammation: Reduces swelling and stiffness in joints, often associated with arthritis or physical injuries.
- Menstrual Pain: Alleviates painful periods (dysmenorrhea).
- Fever Reduction: Helps lower fever associated with various conditions.
- Post-Surgical Pain: Can be used for pain and inflammation following surgery.
How it Works:
- It contains two active ingredients, Ibuprofen (an NSAID) and Paracetamol (an analgesic).
- They work together to block prostaglandins, chemical messengers that cause pain, fever, and inflammation in the body, providing faster relief.
Important Considerations:
- Take with Food: To prevent stomach upset, take it with or after a meal.
- Short-Term Use: Use for short durations only, unless a doctor advises otherwise.
- Consult a Doctor: If you have stomach ulcers, kidney/liver issues, asthma, heart problems, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking blood thinners, consult your doctor first.
- Avoid Overdose: Do not take with other painkillers containing ibuprofen or paracetamo
